THE STORY OF THE OWNERS
Native Costa Rican Bryan Núñez fondly remembers being a child picking coffee alongside his grandmother. She taught him the unique coffee culture of Costa Rica, rooting a desire that would inspire him decades later to seek out the Bonilla farm in Dota – Tarazú, Costa Rica's premier coffee growing area.
In 2017, the farm agreed to produce small-batch coffee for Bryan, and together, Bryan and the Bonillas developed the three washed and roasted formulas for Huella.
In 2020, Huella Café started brewing in Cafeseato restaurant in Huacas, Costa Rica.
Breeze Hurly discovered her passion for coffee at age 16, working as a barista in Amarillo, Texas. There, she learned the fundamentals of making a great cup of coffee, the importance of knowing the origin of coffee, and how to evaluate its quality.
As an adult, Breeze's travels led her to seek out the finest coffees around the world as she hatched the idea of starting her own coffee company that would encompass every detail from farm to cup.
In 2021, Breeze stopped at the Cafeseato restaurant. There she tasted a delectable cup of coffee and met Bryan. Hearing the story about Bryan's coffee, she realized he established the type of company she dreamed about. Over the course of many visits and countless liters of Huella Café, a business partnership formed.
Working in synergy, Bryan and Breeze continue to make their mark on the coffee world and remind everyone
“Su huella hace la diferencia“
